The company has applied the principles of good governance related to listed companies, these cover four main subject areas: the Board of Directors, Directors’ remuneration, Accountability and audit and Relations with shareholders.

Corporate responsibility

CAG is cognisant that, by its very nature, mining is a non-sustainable activity. It also recognizes that its exploration and mining activities can and will have an impact on the natural environment and communities in which the company operates.

Outside Edge Expedition

Central African Gold (CAG) is pleased to announce that the company has thrown its weight behind Kingsley Holgate’s Outside Edge expedition, which kicked off in Cape Town on Saturday, 28 April 2007.
